Modestas Barkauskas:
„I have a two year old son, I understand it very well – how much a child needs. This, what children of Ukraine are experiencing is horrible. I wouldn’t wish this to happen to any person, especially to children. We, the orchestra, Caritas of Lithuania and all people from Lithuania [and other countries] can do something to ease the routine of poor Ukrainian orphans, who were shattered and traumatized by war.“
For the offerings that will be received the orchestra will buy basic things such as diapers, food, teaching materials, vitamins, musical equipment. The musicians of the orchestra will take the gifts by themselves and will give them to the employers of the orphanages and the school. They will also organize educational events for the children.
