International masterclasses for conductors – is a cooperation project between Zurich University of the Arts and St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra. Johannes Schlaefli – one of the most renown pedagogues in conducting, has taught great conductors, such as Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Patrick Lange, and Christian Kluxen.
During the masterclasses the conducting students will be:

F. Mendelssohn. Overture “Hebrides”
C. Saint-Saens. Cello solo concert in A minor, Op. 33 (solo – Rugilė Juknevičiūtė)
L. van Beethoven. Symphony No. 4 in B flat major, Op. 60
I. Adagio – Allegro vivace
II. Adagio
III. Allegro vivace
IV. Allegro ma non troppo
E. Elgar. „Salut d’amour“, Op. 12

Participation at the masterclasses as a listener is free of charge!
The masterclasses will take place 28–31 May, Monday-Thursday, 13:30–17:30 at Pamėnkalnio St 13, Vilnius, in the ground floor hall.
The closing concert of the masterclasses will take place on 1 June, 19:00, at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (Katedros Square 4 , Vilnius). The entrance to the concert is free with an online registration. The link for registration.
