A concert from the international project  New Music:New Audiences

Concert organized in cooperation with the LITHUANIAN COMPOSERS’ UNION
Concert partners: The Museum of Energy and Technology,
LATGA Association, Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology

Soloist LIUDAS MOCKŪNAS (bass clarinet, bass saxophone)
Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology mixed choir GABIJA (director Rasa Viskantaitė)
Vilnius City Municipality ST. CHRISTOPHER CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Conductor DONATAS KATKUS

The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Prof. Donatas Katkus, has given performances not only in prestigious concert halls, but also in such unusual locations, like gravel pits, up in a hot air ballon, and on a boat… And this time, string music will fill the spaces of the first central electricity plant in Vilnius!
After such a performance, you won’t be left wondering whether a concert can be enjoyed just in a hall, or that art and turbines have nothing in common…
Sounds intriguing? Then don’t miss out!
