DESCRIPTION:On March 11, Lithuanians of the World will be united by a festive concert from the Republic of Lithuania Parlament – Seimas.In commemoration of the Day of Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence, Vilnius City Municipality St. The Christopher Chamber Orchestra from the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania presents a festive concert – „We are together” to Lithuania and Lithuanians around the world. The concert’s soloists are the winners of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize Veronika Povilionienė (vocals) and Petras Vyšniauskas (saxophone). The concert program will feature works and arrangements by M. K. Čiurlionis, B. Kutavičius, A. Martinaitis, J. Naujalis, F. Bajoras, and other Lithuanian composers. The music festival will be broadcast on TV channels and online.\nThe March 11 concert is organized in cooperation with the LRT and the World Lithuanian Community (PLB). The project is sponsored by the Vilnius City Municipality.\nThe concert will be broadcast on LRT Plus and LRT Lituanica channels, on the portal lrt.lt, and on St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and PLB Facebook accounts March 11 at 7:15 p.m. Lithuanian time. The host of the concert is Gerūta Griniūtė.\n
