It is hard to find such an artistic and enthusiastic personality as Donatas Katkus. He is 75, but still on going, relentless, fresh, encrusted with a rare and delicate sense of humor, a man of mood, creator and discoverer, never boring, always new DONATAS KATKUS. Soloists: Tamar Nugis (baritone), Anne Derouard (soprano), Magali Palies (mezzosoprano), actor Vytautas Anužis. Conductor – Amaury du Closel, France.
In program: a premiere by Jonas Jurkūnas – “A vogn shikh”, Alexander von Zemlinsky – “Psalm 23”, Erich Zeisl – “Requiem ebraico” (premiere in Lithuania).
