Vilnius City Municipality
ST. CHRISTOPHER CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Conductor DONATAS KATKUS
The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, often a recipient of special attention from the organizers of the most prestigious music festivals, has now been invited to represent Lithuania and its composers at the Vale of Glamorgan Festival (Great Britain). This is one of the most interesting and unique events in Great Britain presenting contemporary (i.e. living) composers, the festival receiving acknowledgement of its vision in being awarded the Prudential Award in 1994 and Wales Arts Council prizes. So without even having to leave Vilnius you too shall have the chance to feel a part of this festival by being among the first to hear the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra’s truly striking programme!
