About love and for love – together with The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, soloist soprano Viktorija Miškūnaitė will share French visions of love.
One of the brightest Lithuanian singers, soprano Viktorija Miškūnaitė is a Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre soloist. Since her debut in the theater in 2012, she has already created many memorable roles; her talent has been awarded the “Golden Cross of the Stage” several times. The soloist, who earned the audience’s love on the opera stage, also feels excellent performing concert music. This time she will share the beauty of her voice and sensitive musicality with the audience, performing French love songs.

Together with the soloist, we will dance the waltz to the wonderful “Les Chemins de l’amour” by Francis Poulenc. We will listen to a classic French love song, Edith Piaf’s “La vien rose.” We will remember Charles Aznavour, who is compared to Frank Sinatra, enjoying the delicacy of the classic French mélodie and gazing at the French sky, singing Hubert Giraud’s song “Sour le ciel de Paris,” which has become a symbol of Paris and France.
The orchestra and soloist will also perform arias and other works by R. Schchedrin-G. Bizet, G. Faure, G. Puccini, E. Morricone, A. Dvorak, E. Elgar, and other composers.

The concert is part of the Vilnius 700 program. https://www.700vilnius.lt/
