2024 December 12, 7 pm., St. Catherine Church (Vilnius St. 30, Vilnius)
This year, the orchestra, together with Simas Tankevičius (violin) and Adas Gecevičius (electronic DJ), invites you to take a new look at Antonio Vivaldi’s work “Seasons of the Year.” At the concert, the St.Christopher Chamber Orchestra will perform a new interpretation of Antonio Vivaldi’s work by contemporary British composer Max Richter, which enchants with its virtuosity and wonderful melodies. This work is a new and daring approach to one of the most popular works for the violin of the Baroque era, which caused quite a stir in the traditional world of interpretations of Baroque music.
