Colorful – yes, this is the right word to describe this Friday and the beginning of summer  concert. It is also a very important event meant to celebrate international Children’s day. This is a music fest for everyone – adults and children –, it is a time, after what you will feel that you have done something meaningful and joyful! The marvelous Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, wonderful music, extremely charismatic soloist, the young cellist Rugilė Juknevičiūtė (13), conducting guests from abroad and, of course, irreplaceable St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra – all this can become a great beginning of the summer!
Also this concert – is the closing concert of the masterclasses and a result of a cooperation between Zurich University of the Arts and St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra. The concert will be conducted by young students of Johannes Schlaefli. Johannesas Schlaefli – one of the most renown pedagogues in conducting, has taught great conductors, such as Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Patrick Lange, and Christian Kluxen.
