2023 July 21 7:30 p.m. On the stage of the park near the Klaipėda concert hall
St. Kristoforos Chamber Orchestra together with MAMA award-winning young generation creator and performer Monikaze organizes an exclusive concert of electro-acoustic music. It will feature music from Monikaze’s album Laws of Distraction. The album tells about a person’s efforts to stay focused in today’s noisy world. Each song reveals a certain mood and a specific situation, which Monikaze narrates in the voice of the main character, and his inner and outer worlds are reflected by interweaving layers of electronic sounds and a live string orchestra.
Monikaze (Monika Zenkevičiūtė) is from Klaipėda, a student of the S. Šimkaus Conservatory, who completed composition studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
