For the first time in Lviv, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra (Vilnius) will give a single, exclusive concert. Under the baton of Modestas Barkauskas, the orchestra will present a selection of works by contemporary Lithuanian and Ukrainian composers, blending deep meditative moods with refined harmonies.
The event is part of the Vilnius Days in Lviv – a celebration that symbolizes the cultural dialogue and friendship between the two sister cities.
The concert program will impress with its variety of soundscapes, merging melancholic reflection and neoclassical sensitivity, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary chamber music.

About the performers:
The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra is one of Lithuania’s most versatile and professional ensembles, known for its artistic imagination and openness to experimentation. Led by Modestas Barkauskas, the orchestra is a regular participant in international festivals and has performed in such prestigious venues as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Harpa in Reykjavik, Berwaldhallen in Stockholm, as well as in royal residences and museums across Europe.
Founded in 1994, the orchestra originally specialized in Baroque music but has since expanded its repertoire, with a strong focus on contemporary Lithuanian composers. Its creative portfolio includes over 30 premieres of Lithuanian works and collaborations with renowned international classical music stars.
