Glass Duo – performing on the largest glass harp in the world!

Renowned Polish musicians Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec, known as GlassDuo, perform on a unique instrument made entirely of musical glasses – the glass harp.

According to the artists, “glass harp” is only a symbolic name for this extraordinary instrument. Both professional classical musicians – a violinist and a trumpeter – Anna and Arkadiusz once experimented with making music from wine glasses and were so fascinated by the sound that they dedicated themselves to mastering this new art. Having developed a special playing technique and a wide repertoire, today they perform all over the world, enchanting audiences with the subtle, refined, and dreamlike sound of glass. Many describe their concerts as “a walk in the clouds” or “music that has drifted in from a dream.”

GlassDuo are the only artists in Poland performing on the glass harp, and there are only a handful of such professional ensembles in the entire world. Their instrument is the largest glass harp ever built, spanning an impressive five octaves. Each glass was custom-made and tuned during production to achieve perfect pitch – without the need for adding water.

This is not just a concert – it’s an unforgettable experience of sound and light.
