The mixed choir Kamertonas, together with its artistic director and conductor Kęstutis Jakeliūnas, warmly invites audiences to a festive 30th anniversary concert — a celebration of three decades of musical creation, community, and dedication to the art of choral singing.
The jubilee programme will unite Kamertonas with some of Lithuania’s finest musicians on stage: the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra with its artistic director and principal conductor Modestas Barkauskas, sopranos Ilona Zajančkauskienė and Rūta Skučienė, tenor Laurynas Viliušis, saxophone virtuoso Petras Vyšniauskas, violinist Ilona Klusaitė, and pianist Goda Palskytė-Mineikienė.
A highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of composer Antanas Jasenka’s work “Three Conversations of Christ”. Blending contemporary musical language with profound spiritual reflection, this new composition will symbolically stand at the heart of the entire celebration.
The programme will reveal the richness and diversity of choral music — from delicate chamber textures to grand, resonant soundscapes where artistic mastery, creative passion, and spiritual depth meet.
This anniversary concert promises to be a remarkable gathering, uniting the choir’s history, its long-standing bond with its audience, and the unveiling of new musical horizons yet unheard.
