As evening falls over Vilnius Old Town in December, St. Catherine’s Church will be filled with one of the most captivating musical experiences of our time – the music of Ludovico Einaudi, whose works have touched the hearts of millions of listeners around the world.
The concert A Hypnotic Evening of Music will feature the Italian composer’s most celebrated works, from the delicate I Giorni and Nuvole Bianche to the majestic Divenire and the audience favourite Experience. For the first time in Lithuania, this programme will be presented in a unique chamber orchestra and piano arrangement. Pianist Kamilė Zaveckaitė, together with the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra under the direction of its Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Modestas Barkauskas, will reveal new colours and dimensions of Einaudi’s music. The subtle dialogue between piano and strings will bring even greater depth, warmth, and emotional power to these beloved masterpieces.
