The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra invites you to the prestigious Laureates’ Concert of the Sixth International St. Christopher Composers Competition – an evening where talent, creativity, and the future of contemporary music come together.
For the sixth consecutive year, the competition brings together some of the most promising young composers from around the world. This concert offers a unique opportunity to discover works that are only beginning their journey onto international stages, while their creators take important steps toward professional careers in music. Many previous laureates have gone on to collaborate with orchestras across Europe and beyond, establishing themselves on the international music scene.
The programme will take audiences on a musical journey through diverse cultures, ideas, and contemporary artistic visions. Each composition tells its own story, reflecting the distinctive voice, imagination, and creative ambition of a new generation of composers.
The evening will also feature the official awards ceremony, during which the laureates of the 2026 competition will be announced and honoured.
