Registration

The St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra announces the 6th International St. Christopher Composer Competition and invites composers from around the world to bring their creative ideas to life on a professional stage.

This is more than a competition – it is an opportunity to be heard. Selected works will be performed live, while the best compositions will become part of the orchestra’s repertoire. The competition aims to discover talented creators, encourage the creation of new works for chamber orchestra, and help composers take a significant step forward in their professional careers.

The finalist works will be performed by the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra on October 11, 2026, at the ceremonial laureates’ concert held at Vilnius Town Hall. Selected works will also be featured during the orchestra’s 2026–2027 season, and the concert may be filmed and published online – offering an additional opportunity to reach a wider audience.

The competition is open to composers aged 18–40. Participants are invited to submit works for string orchestra lasting 5–10 minutes. Eligible compositions must have been created between 2024 and 2026 and must not have participated in any other competition.

📢 Participation is free of charge!
