An evening filled with silence, drama, and inner journeys — the composer Antanas Jasenka’s author concert “Songs of the Wild Duck” opens new horizons in contemporary Lithuanian music.

The program features works intertwining spiritual themes, solitude, the search for meaning, and the human connection with time: from the early-period composition “Confido,” sounding as a manifesto of faith and hope, to an excerpt from the stage work “The Wild Duck,” which inspired the concert’s title.

Listeners will embark on a musical journey through three decades of creative expression — from intimate, chamber-like spaces of silence to powerful bursts of theatrical tension.

The concert is free of charge, but advance registration is required.
This evening is not only a concert — it is a living encounter with music that speaks about humanity, time, and silence.
