On a serene spring evening, St. Catherine’s Church will fill with music that breathes the scent of the sea, light, and longing. The concert “Swings Under the Star-Studded Sky” will present contemporary works by Lithuanian composers — pieces inviting listeners into a quiet world of reflection and emotion.
Vidmantas Germanavičius’ “Swings Under the Star-Studded Sky”, written for kanklės and chamber orchestra, evokes the gentle rocking between waves and sky. It is a delicate meditation on the passage of time, fragility, and inner peace.
Giedrius Svilainis’ “The Balts Return” is a musical dedication to ancestral spirit and roots — a song of return, renewal, and cultural memory.
